Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast thanks the many businesses and organizations that have given tremendous support to our program. They have helped us to provide mentoring services to many children in Humboldt County.
BIG thanks to Bear River Casino for raising $1,513 for BBBSNC through collecting Bowl for Kids' Sake donations in February, 2011.
BIG thanks to Fortuna Kiwanis Club for raising $1,358 for BBBSNC through pumpkin sales in 2010. Thank you for supporting our efforts to grow our mentoring program in the Eel River Valley!
Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services awarded us a grant that allowed us to provide 22 summer camp scholarships to BBBSNC youth! All of these young people would never have the opportunity to attend without these scholarships. A gigantic thank you to the Camp Directors at Lost Coast Camp, North Star Quest Camp, Camp Ravencliff, and Field of Dreams Horse Camp, and to everyone in the community who has sponsored or donated to these camps to make future scholarships possible. Thank you, DHHS!
