Agency volunteers make mentoring possible.
Board and committee members, Bowl For Kids' Sake team captains, and event volunteers put all the pieces together to make our youth mentoring programs a reality. Volunteer once a year, or once a month. We have an opportunity for you to plug in your skills and interests. Network with other movers and shakers in Humboldt County.
Use your leadership skills and learn about the governance of a non-profit.
Use your professional skills towards a good cause.
Serve on the BBBSNC board or on a short-term board task force.
Participate in our biggest annual fundraiser - March 2-3. 2012.
Rally your co-workers, friends, family and neighbors to gather pledges.
Be part of bowling fun, costumes, prizes and much more.
Organize one of over 150 teams that will bowl at the next Bowl For Kids' Sake. We are proud to raise over 80% of our operating budget each year in Humboldt County. Have a few hours to spare setting up tables or taking tickets at a fundraiser?
Sign up on our event volunteer list, and we will contact you 2-3 times per year.We want to tell the public about your charitable contribution toward bettering the lives of local youth with banners with your logo at our event, your name listed in the program, and a link to your web page from our site.
Become a business sponsor of BBBSNC today!. If you are interested in promoting the agency to businesses, service clubs, or classes, sign up for our Speakers Bureau program.Arrange for a presentation at your office, church, or club.
Invite us to table at your community event.
Post a flyer at your business or church.
Underwrite a television or radio ad.
