Last year BFKS teams raised $150,000, and nearly 100% of the money stayed to benefit the local community. The end of the year holiday season is a fantastic time to give to BBBS. Give a gift in the name of a loved one. Make a tax-deductible contribution. Ask about the Make a Difference campaign in December of each year.

Tax Status
North Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nonprofit corporation, which is classified by the IRS as exempt under the IRS Section 501(c)(3). Therefore, donations from individuals and corporations, as well as grants from private foundations, qualify for maximum tax benefits allowable by the IRS.
Most gifts of cash to BBBS are fully deductible for donors who itemize their federal income tax returns.
Each donor should seek the advice of his or her own professional tax advisor. BBBS's development department will be happy to assist donors and advisors in structuring their gifts. |
